I had just graduated from Herb School and was creating lotions and creams for massage therapists. It was then I decided to take a massage class to help make better products. I discovered I really enjoyed doing massage! That was about thirty years ago and I still feel the same way. I love helping people relax and feel healthier, looser and altogether better.

My first certification was in classic Swedish Massage. This has been a great foundation to add many techniques to. I have learned from years of classes and wonderful teachers. This knowledge allows us to customize a massage crafted just for you.

In 1998 I became certified in Prenatal Massage and began working with the midwives at St. Joseph’s. In 2000 I trained in Chair Massage and created a Wellness in the Workplace program featuring chair massages that helped employees and businesses here in Humboldt. Including, Cal Poly Humboldt, Eureka City Schools and RCRC.
In 2007 I expanded into skincare and became a licensed esthetician through studying oncology skincare. I learned the many joys of a great facial and the satisfaction of a well-done wax. I have also helped women deal with skincare issues during and after cancer treatments. I volunteered with the American Cancer Society where I facilitated the “Look Good Feel Better” program throughout Humboldt County.

Prenatal Massage
This safe and comfortable massage is designed to offer natural relief from the demands of pregnancy. using specially designed body cushions that allow Mom-to-be to lay face down while her belly is gently supported and “floating”. This helps reduce physical discomfort and stress from mom and baby. Massage relieves many of the discomforts of pregnancy, such as backaches, leg cramps, headaches and edema.

Reflexology
Herbal foot soak with hand reflexology. Then gentle but firm pressure on the reflex points of the feet, finished with a soothing foot massage.

Classic Facial
This gentle and deeply relaxing treatment clams the mind and stimulates lymph flow to promote the skin's natural fortifying processes.
