Stefani grew up in San Diego and knew from a young age that city life was not for her. After high school, she traveled to Normal, Illinois where she attended college and obtained her B.S. in geography. Stefani knew in her heart that working with people was where she belonged. Previously employed in the service industry, Stefani has always enjoyed helping others. She loves making people smile and feel good; she even made it her personal mission to bring smiles to others while helping restore orphanages in Russia. 

 

In 2008, Stefani arrived in Humboldt where she fell in love with the beauty of the great outdoors and the strong sense of community. At first, the idea of becoming a nail technician made Stefani uncertain. However, once she saw the happiness that tending to hands and feet created in her clients, she was hooked. Stefani found her niche: to nurture and care for hands & feet, which are so important in our daily lives and are often overlooked.

 

 Last year was a big year for Stefani. Not only did she became a mother, but she also started at Nurture Salon & Skin Care Studio alongside Rachael, owner and aesthetician, and stylists Lexi and Jan. The bonds created with her coworkers and the new relationships budding with her clients blossomed into a supportive and welcoming environment for a new baby. Stefani and Nick gave birth to their beautiful daughter, Arrowyn, who recently turned one. 

 

The three of them greatly enjoy the outdoors: camping, hiking, and playing at the river. Arrowyn shares her mom's love for smiles and is constantly inspiring Stefani to learn and grow. This new love has helped create a good foundation to care for her family and clients at Nurture Salon Skin Care Studio.
